Default Rotors for Tow Rig

Cross drilled? gas and heat dispersion

Slotted? heat dispersion variable surface area.

Grooved? : variable surface area

Factory OEM dealer part? Heavy, heavy, heavy, heat conduction dispersion.

Replaced my brake rotors from cross drilled because of the cracking.

What are your thoughts and experiences.

My opinion that you have two choices.

1. factory. heavy, yes, but large mass heats up less quicly. Less prone to warping.
2. aftermarket rotors. I'm not a big fan or slotted or cross-drilled rotors. It reduces surface area for the brake pad, and I have to imagine that it increases brake pad wear. If i was going to buy an aftermarket rotor a finned rotor would probably be your best bet. IMHO

Additional note: I've been using the EBC green pads with good success.
