Chinese Flying Lanterns.......where to buy in West Michigan???

Someone had them at Silver Lake over the 4th.

I think it's kind of stupid honestly. How cool are you going to be when you start a forest fire with one of those things?

We used them at my bro-in-laws over the 4th and I agree, you have to be smart when setting them off. Probably a real windy night isn't a good idea. But these things get so much altitude, there's no way they are still hot when they float back down. Everything I read says they are biodegradable, but who knows.

how about when lit, it fly's, as hot air rises and it wont come down until the flame is out for a while, and the air cools down then it biodegrade or gets pick up by some guy that is pissed cus it landed in his pool
