Find a huge plot of land, some rope and a car/motorcycle/other type of vehicle to tow you?

Used to be done along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Can't remember which beaches and dunes, it has just been so long since I have seen it here.

I offered my roof, I think it will be the highest you will find. If not, I have plenty of land and can tow you across the field.

I will be home after 1 tomorrow, be there.

now you know i dont have $500 for a harness right now and your idea involving rope, tape, and a life jacket just wont work.

I doubt that will happen soon. Ive piloted a cessna, ultralight, and glider. All fun but hang gliding is something I really want to do (grandpa is a flight instructor). From what ive heard they do it out at warren dunes area. Maybe next summer ill try it out over in that area. I have axcess to farmland but i doubt theres much updraft in the fall post harvest season. idk ill have to read more into it.

I used to see them at Warren Dunes all of the time, but it's been awhile since I have been out there. Not sure if they allow it there anymore. If not, I am sure you could get away with it at Grand Mere.

How did i miss this thread!!!

I want to help with your death....errr...flight! I will volunteer any of my vehicles to tow you. I really dont see why you need updraft if your being towed...Angle it up and go then coast back to the ground...Sounds easy to me....OR better yet, i know chad has access to a jet ski, we could do it over water to slightly decrease the chance of you dieing. I think if you dont get knocked out on impact and drown you should be fine.

Or the best idea yet....We fixed that dune buggy and i hear a rumor it will have nos soon, im sure we could tow you around silver lake.

Basically anyway you want todo it im game....

i say we start a paypal donation for the harness...Im sure you will get some money from people here to see you crash....err....fly!

Ps: i have a video camera and WILL have it ready....and dont worry, ill stop and upload the video BEFORE we take him to the hospital
