That just piss's me off, that was a nice looking ranger...........

All the cars they glanced over in the lot are all newer and probably nicer then anything I own/drive. So my vehicles would be considered "true clunkers" in comparision to the cars that are actually getting turned in. And the sad part is I cannot afford a new car nor the full coverage insurance for a new car. So I guess I will keep driving my clunkers. Worst part is probably 2/3's of those cars/trucks i probably could afford and would be an improvement for me in emissions and mpg compared to what I currently drive.

it was nice looking, yes. but thats about as far as that goes. it was a true pos. that truck has been beat to hell.

but on the other hand, i have done many cars that i would gladly drive every day. i mean low mile spotless 7 year old explorers and such. its depressing really.

I agree with you ...

This is the same argument someone on FOX News was making. A lot of the vehicles that qualify for this are the only vehicles that some people can afford!! What are those people supposed to do ?

why not let people who drive shittier vehicles trade in their "emission spewing, gas guzzling p.o.s" for some of the cleaner vehicles to get them off the road? seems like a waste.
