Default 4runner build

Figured id put this up here. This is my cousin's 4runner we have been building. Trying to get it done for the comp at twisted trails Aug 22, 23

Spec:
37 iroks
dual toy case's with tg twin stick
Trail gear ifs Eliminator Kit - 5in tg springs with dual 5150s upfront , 63" chevy springs with 5150s and creeper joint shackle mounts in the back
Toyota axles - 5.29's with air lockers f&r, 4340 Chromoly Birfields*broke one so now has dirty30s*, and tg creeper gussets
Ceramic High Performance clutch kit
Trail gear rocksliders, and front and rear bumpers with a 12k winch
etc
etc

What we got done the first weekend working on it.
Table of parts

All the ifs cut off and rear suspension off

Front hanger on

Front axle-before

Front axle- Almost done, diff cover hadnt shown up yet

Front hung

My favorite picture And yes it was just for mock up. Going to add tabs to the outside of the shock mounts

Mounting the rear springs using plates and bolts instead of U-bolts. Yes there will be added support

Since i left he's got the motor cleaned up and resealed *22re*, and in. Got the r&p setup. Finished welding up the front stuff. Started welding the rear spring mounts in.Heading back up this weekend with the rest of the parts to hopfully finish it.

Wasnt planning on it, kinda just put them both in there cuz we could. Then we just sat and looked at for 5min going so we left it He tends to do alot of jumping and prerunning so we figured way not

So does he not need my tires anymore? You guys work quick. I was planning on getting over there last weekend to check it out, but that fell through.

Good setup as long as they are the 5150s valved at 170/60, not 255/70. Check it out-- with the valving for single shock (255/70) doubled at each front corner, that 4-runner will ride like a brick, and if you do manage to compress the shocks while prerunning, they will pack real bad and take forever to extend again.

Dual 5150's at 170/60 is a hot setup for that though

Just got home. It turned out real sweet. We were out there saturday from 9am to 2am straight threw. Even had pizza delivered to the barn so we didnt have to leave.

I didnt have my camera but my friend got some pictures ill get up later

So yea we got a TON done. Got the front and rear axles all together, all the front and rear suspension and steering done, front and rear bumpers and the winch on, passenger side rock slider, put the trans and dual case's and twin stick together and in, found a bad bearing in the trans when doing the case's so tore the trans down and pieced 2 trans he had together to make 1 good one, locker switch's in and ran air for the front locker.
So we had it sitting on all 4 by the time we went in.

Only stuff really left is to hook up the brake lines, driveshafts, finish mounting the rear shocks, run air to the rear locker, put the other slider on and put the gas tank in

So hopfully will be doing the test run next weekend when i move up and get some miles on it b4 the comp. Also just filled out the entry today so were good to go

Started it today, fired right up. Drove it to the gas station and back and around the yard. Rides real nice. Have to turn the front shocks so the resverors point in, there rubbing on the tires. Heres some pictures from today

With the other toys
