Default Campgrounds?

I want to take my daughter camping in a couple weeks. She is 4 so she usually falls asleep around 10 or 11. My wife and I like to party and have a good time. I am trying to find a campground that doesn't make you be quiet at 11:00. More of a younger crowd, partiers campground where I am not getting hasseled by the DNR or cops because were being loud at midnight on a Saturday.

Anyone know any?

Besides the above My requirements are simple. Allow pets and a lake for swimming/fishing. And I prefer it to not be more than a couple hours from flint.

pontiac lk is pretty cool, but the quiet time thing is an issue there, at least last time we went probably 4 years ago.

My cousins go out to Algonac a lot and I think it has a lake but Im not sure about the noise law thing.

We used to go to the yogi bear park in frankenmuth and that was a lot of fun when I was younger especially during Halloween for trick or treating. I think that had a noise law around 10 or 11 though

Well, we ended up finding one in Vassar. Krystal Lake campground (no relation to Friday the 13th). We looked at a ton of them and one I wanted to stay at was full. I need to start my research earlier next year. I'm gonna look into buying a campground and splitting it with a loud side and a quiet side. Loud side will have no quiet time or if it does, will be like 2:00am for the people who don't go camping to sleep.

You better make sure you buy a shitload of land; at night you can hear rowdy fockers 1/4 mile away like they were right next door.

Ya, I would try for something way up north and split it well with a lot of trees in the middle. Just a pipe dream, but I've got some good investor friends. I think it'd do well. I used to go to a beach by Milan when I was younger. It was an all day party. Everyone drinkin, and partying, and swimmin all day. That place was always packed. I always wished they would have had camping.

I think I went to that place once. Stayed one night, left the next morning. I was wondering if the white robes were coming out and if there was going to be a lynching or cross burning.

Last time I was at Pinckney Rec Area there were bunch of people partying all night by the fireplace. I don't think they have anyone at night, so if someone wants to enforce the quiet time, you have to call police. That was my last time I went there.

I mean I try to be somewhat respectable to the people around me. I'm not up screaming all night long, but I'm almost 32 years old, I really don't need some punk 18 yr old kid telling me I need to be quiet and go to bed.

There are really nice camp spots up in this neck of the woods that are on the river. Costs nothing, and is a lot of fun... No bathrooms but still on the river and free!!!

I actually just set my tent up in my back yard, me and son will sleep out there tonight and hope to see some of the meteors before sleep time. He will be so excited to come home and see the tent there. He leaves Saturday for 2 weeks to Myrtle Beach with my sister and her kids to their timeshare. Gotta spend some quality time with him. Taking him fishing tomorrow.
