Supposedly, the object is to remove older fuel thirsty and polluting cars from the road to help reduce oil dependency and the environment.

Yet I see no catch pans for the fluids or even any clean up, just antifreeze and oil headed for the sewer.

I suggest a boycott of any dealer that participated in this program.

i have said it before and will say it again
GREAT LETS MAKE A DEAL TO GET RID OF GAS GUZZLING CARS!!!!!
HOWEVER what about people like me and alot of others....i drive a 96 gmc 4x4 truck and in no way can i afford a 300 a month payment plus the full coverage insurance to buy a new car or truck and at some point i am gonna need a new motor and could use one dfrom a junkyard but in the government says destroy all motors....guess i am gonna be walking because i cant afford a reman or a new motor from gm when mine gives out
