What a bummer. You finally make it to the end of the rainbow and all you find is a dirty Jeep.

Ouch... Driving out there is a big no-no, let alone taking pics and posting them online.

Did you happen to see the giant signs saying no motorized traffic beyond this spot?

If there was a sign I would have stopped. I've heard many different people say you can and you can't. Who's got the facts?

There is a GIANT sign before you even get to the corner that turns left about 100' before marblehead

yup there is a giant sign, right on the way out there after you get down the steps. part of the reason the DNR let the stairsteps become part of the ORV route was so that in turn the top of Marblehead cliff area would be closed to motorized traffic.

I don't know how I missed the "GIANT" sign. I like to think I'm not one of "those guys". I feel kinda dumb now.

There was just a post on GLFWDA asking about the sign. It sounds as though the sign has been removed by some dillweed.

Either way, that doesn't make your photo or your actions any more legal. Please remove the photo immediatly.

Definitely a sign. Trust me/bones, I've been out there several times in the past year (on foot).

I was there this spring with MW just after the trails weere signed over. There were TWO signs. One were you turn left and one at the other way in before you drop down by the big poser rock. I hope they get put back up quickly before the DNR starts closing off areas because of the A-Holes that want to ruin it for all of us.

The fact is that it is closed. If you heard different stories of it being open or closed you shouldn't you have checked prior to going out there?
