Default 13HP honda ?

i just got a deal on a working 13 HP honda. now i know they rate these engines at 3600 RPM. my question is what would happen to the engine if i spin it to 5000. will it blow up or will it handle the rpm no problem. i ask because i'm putting it on a go kart and wanna be able to go faster then 20 mph. with the current gearing and 5000 rpm i could theoretically get to 55 mph no problem. i have a tachometer and plan on setting maximum rpm to 5000 but if it can't handle sustained rpm i won't let it get that high.

They run them in a mini cup car alot faster than 3600 but don't know the limits. Once you find out where too fast is you can just jb weld it back together and try again though right?
