Default BBF Stubby Bumper for TJ/YJ/CJ

Developing a new stubby winch bumper for fatwreck's new YJ. Tubing will be an additional option on top of the base bumper. Hope to be building a prototype soon to verify fit. Once that's completed a TJ model will be close behind.

Pricing is not set yet at this time.

Only so many ways you bend tube different...........but you can change up the bumper winch plate all day long and I think Chris did a good job making something different there then a lot of other vendors local or not.

if you noticed the tow points are totally different. xjs has clevis' on the front and the one if your pic has the hooks. just one upgrade in my opinion.

I opted for no clevis's as I don't like them. I prefer a hook. Personal preference.

I was just pointing out that it's not a new revelation.

I see differences in the front facets, double side facets, the angles of the facets are different, the tubes are not shaped the same on the way to the bumper for the b-hoop, and the front little hoop has gussets connecting the whole thing. They both attach to a YJ and are the width of the frame so........... I like the looks of both of them but come awn, posting that stuff in this thread is a little bogus don't you think?

BTW, BBF is located in IN but the bumpers are made 10 miles from my house(GR) and the steel is sourced locally so it's also "made right here local".

Love that bumper and Tab does some awesome work. There's a million bumpers out there that are similar, wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel here. Buddy wanted a bumper and this was the design he chose. If some one else likes it that's just a bonus.

Feva4u is correct. I work out of IN but everything is built up in Grand Rapids.

Uh... way to steal the dudes thunder.

This should be in the vendor forum though, if your looking to use this place to sell parts it's only fair.

I know, I know. If I was on the other side of things I'd say the same thing. My employment situation right now (no job) doesn't give me much money to spend on things like Vendor memberships. I've contacted CC recently and explained to him my situation and he was okay with what I'm doing. Once things improve (I'm hoping shortly) and I'm bringing in more than I'm spending I'll gladly pony up for a Vendor membership.

No problem. Like I said, I can see both sides of it and I completely understand where everyone is coming from. And any one who knows me knows that I always try to do the right thing.

I was trying to stick up for both parties I guess, I shouldn't have said anything
