Default TH400 trans question

Need some clarification-

Looking at the trans from the side where the shift shaft is, is Park full clockwise position and 1st (standard valvebody) full counterclockwise?

I'm a bit rusty, but I think you are correct. the bell crank normally pulls from the bottom forward to go into park.

park would be all the way clockwise, you have it correct.
