after seeing this website http://whythefuckdoyouhaveakid.com/ earlier, forced sterilization doesn't seem like such a bad idea

Those opinions are a little scary, even though I do think some people need to be taken out back and shot, but I used to hold some pretty fucked up opinions in the past. That doesn't mean it should prevent me from holding new opinions or being able to further myself career wise.

I see some reason in what he wrote.

I am all for sterilization of people that are second-generation welfare wards and a limit on births if you're on welfare. Also, proof of a secure and financially stable home needed to have a child. Why not?

America, as a whole, is breeding more stupid, lazy and worthless people than our country cannot sustain.

Watch "Idiocracy" and get back to me. This guy is a visionary, but his environmental views negates any objectivity toward the auto industry.

if you collect government cheese, you should also have to take a pill that sterilizes you. The effects wear off within a month, so if you ass is off welfare you can have kids.

All I seen when I first read it, was this guy is a twisted strange cat.

I know one thing if these type of people showed up when bush was in office, holy shit the world would have come to a stop.

I agree that there a few people i have seen that should never breed, but who am i to tell people what they can and can not do.

Last i knew this is still a free country, but it sure does seem that Obama is trying to change that, and by having czar's in his pocket they can do what they want and cant say anything because we dont vote czar's in

ok, i'm not commenting on anything in this thread except, yes the czars are appointed by Obama. There are a lot of jobs that are appointed by the President. Is this a new concept to you? Think about the cabinet, supreme court, etc.

here's a little info for you:

those that you mentioned have to be confirmed by the very people we vote in to office and they have to go thru the confirmation hearings.

Czar's are just told that they have a job and go to work, and some have powers over the congress

This is what i was getting at.

If I am paying for your healthcare, food, children's clothing and money to give your babydaddies, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE THE FREEDOM TO PROCREATE MORE.

Period.

Freedom is a privilege hard-won by the greatest people in history down to the greenest private shaking in his boots on the front lines. It is a fucking slap in the face to the aforementioned that we should show any favor to people too goddamned lazy to contribute to society in any other way than as a leach.

Children are a responsibility, and if YOU personally cannot prove you are up to the task, at least financially (and hopefully mentally) then come back and try again when you get your shit together. We have an entire society that has learned to work the welfare system for their survival because we have let them get away with it.

It is an insult to every responsible parent that works hard to provide a future for their child while a woman in the projects plans her next child to get the extra cheddar.

If you take away all those programs, people may take procreation a little more serious.

I have seen this in action when I did social work in Detroit in college.
Condoms are cheaper than kids.. well unless you get paid to have kids..

I don't have a problem with requiring people who are on welfare to take whatever means necessary to ensure that they do not have more children. But requiring people to submit "proof of a secure and financially stable home" before they are allowed to have kids in my opinion goes to far. I'm not willing to give up that much freedom.
