Default Xenon HID headlights - for all vehicles - can even do sealed beams

In addition to my dealer thing (see member owned business section), I'm selling HID's. If you have a CJ,YJ,or TJ, you'd have to get a conversion kit (I can point you in the right direction) so that you could put a bulb in them (versus a sealed beam), but JK's, ZJ's, WJ's, most everything non-jeep made after 1990, I should be able to hook you up. I can post pics of what I did with my XJ if there is interest.

Specify Make, model, year, and color you'd want (5000K is bright white, 6000K is bright white with a tinge of blue). I can get anything from 3000K to 10000K, but 5-6k is typical. Anything above 8K and you've gone to blue/violet and it diminishes light output. I'm likely only to have 5000K and maybe 6000K in stock, but ask if you want anything else - I might have it.

-Ryan

Prices:

35W low beam only w/ slimline ballast: $90
35W low and high beam w/ slimline ballast: $130 (only single headlight vehicles, if your high beams are in a separate housing and you want high beams as well, you have to buy two kits)
50W low beam only: $120
50W low and high beam w/ slimline ballast: $150 (again, only single headlight vehicles, like TJ's and XJ's, not like Chevy trucks for example)
*I'd only recommend using 50W in glass housings or daylighters as they do get fairly hot. 35W is more than adequate for the street.

Conversion kit for sealed beam headlight systems: add $50.

Daylighter install went great - customer said they lit the trail for a mile!

I can get you the headlight conversion set for $50, then you'd be set to accept the HIDs

I don't have a picture of the full kit, I was too excited to get that installed. I will get a shot with my next order. Comes with everything needed:

2 ballasts, all wiring, and 2 bulbs. 2 new bulbs run $35 if you want spares. I'd replace them both at the same time if one goes out as they seem to change color slightly over time.

NOTE: the ballasts shown are the "slimline" ones and those are $120. Standard kits have a square stamped steel housing. It takes up a little more room, but most vehicles should be ok, there is enough wiring provided.

Like I said, $50 would get you the housings, then you'd be ready to accept the HIDs.

So $50 + $100 for the HID kit ($150 total) would convert your XJ from Sealed beam halogen to replaceable bulb Xenon.

6k is in the pic. They are low Xenon, high halogen. I can get them "bi-Xenon" with both. They are $35 more, so I didn't even bother offering until you asked.

edit: Went out to get some night time pics - saw a white and black fluffy tail go under the Jeep. Decided it wasn't worth the risk - I'll get pics tomorrow night...

These are with 6k bulbs and you can see the blue - 5k is more OEM. I think I'm going to bring the aim pattern down. Better yet would be to mark out an aim pattern and recal them, something I'll do when I put the e-codes in.

$150 installed for the standard ballasts. This includes the 7" E-code conversion kit and H4 bulbs of your temperature preference.

Stock OEM is 4300K, thats why I usually recommend 5000k, but 6000K is the blue look some people desire. Price is the same nomatter what color you choose.

I've got a bit of a strange question;
Would you be able to get your hands on H3 HID conversion kits?

I think it would be really interesting to convert a couple standard KC or Hella housings, and that price sure as hell beats the cost of a pair of HID off road lamps.

Sure can. The only issue I could see with those is depending on where you mounted the KCs, you would have to lengthen the wiring. Right now there is only about a foot between the bulb and the ballast. I'd recommend getting the slimlines as they're easier to mount and seemed to be better sealed - though I'm sure both are waterproof. Like anything electronic, I'm not about to powerwash them, however.

Here are the conversion housings for the TJ, in case you're wondering what I'm talking about. The XJ ones are similar - but rectangular obviously.

Heres some pics from todays TJ intall. Xenon on left, stock halogen on right.

Next pic doesn't show much - other than the color difference. These are 5k Xenon, close to OEM.
