Yes, I am speculating. The guy in the video does his own share of speculating. No, I am not a judge, but yes, I'll give you my opinion anyways. Thats kinda how these discussions work. someone posts a topic, we all speculate about what we thing is really going on, we all give our opinions about it, and then proceed to call each other names.

On public land you don't have the right to make them leave anymore than they have the right to make you leave, thats why its called public property
I can't claim to be an expert on the subject but it would seem to me that along with the responsibility to provide security would come the right to ask someone to leave if they were causing a disturbance. If you showed up at a concert in the park with a bull horn and started yelling at the band I think they would have the right to leave. And sometimes they have events on public property that requires an admission fee. Certainly in that situation they would have the right to decide who can stay and who must leave.

Nice, the only one who was denied all the things you said they had a right to do was the filming.
what?

According to you the camera was only touched 2 times
No. According to Judge brewmenn touching someones camera does not qualify as "battery".

Quote:
Seems to me it would have made more sense for security to go get a cop and bring them in the fair so the could see what was going on.
Perhaps. But that would have allowed they to continue to harass people.

Sad but true. Judge brewmenn says that theres a point at which it becomes harassment and they should be able to ask them to stop.

If you believe your right and are comfortable with why you believe your right why get so uptight about talking to someone about what you believe, even if it is on camera, especially when your at a booth in a public setting with a big sign that says ask questions.
In theory, yes, I agree. But in this case it was obvious (to me) that whatever video they recorded that day was going to be edited to make them look bad and posted on U-tube. I think it that situation I would have refused to answer their questions while the camera was running.

Interesting... politically correct, hate crimes, ummm I wonder how far the Obama administration will let this go. Will we see a flag of islam flying at the white house? Well obama has ties to islam, we are half way there already.
Europe has a real problem with the muslims, they are taking over in shear numbers, overpopulating. Islam and demographics in europe, you tube has something on that and they are and will have control of europe in 10 to 15 years if not sooner.
What to do with immigration of muslims?
Our country allows the freedom to express religion and it may be the fall of america as we know it if nothing is done.
The fairness doctrine, freedom of speech, which the government is now trying to put a stop to.

in my understanding there is no real freedom of religion in muslim countries. i had a christian friend from egypt and she said it was so bad that christian girls were often beaten (because they were christian or not muslim) and raped and when they went to the police about it they sometimes received the same treatment from them. muslims view ANYONE who is non-muslim as a 2nd rate citizen, to you people that think it's a christian/muslim thing your wrong... it's a muslim/infidel thing, and you ARE an infidel if you aren't muslim. they do have a pretty strong hatred for christians but that's because it's the only religion big enough to be viewed as a threat to them.

if you look you can find a lot of cases of muslims beating, raping, killing christians in muslim countries. i'm not sure if they do the same to atheists as i don't know if there are any groups out there tracking these things and the media in those countries is heavily controlled through government and their religion.

I hate that too.

Happened to me once in a little pizza place in Echternach, Luxumbourg. Burned the side of my tongue so bad I could not eat for 3 days. Well, except for apple sauce and ice cream.

I had a thought today and decided to post it as aquestion.

For all of you that think these missionaries activities in Dearborn, during an Arab cultural festival is acceptable and should be allowed unabated, why do many of you have a problem with people like the Jehovahs Witnesses coming to your door in a polite manner?

Jehovah's witnesses can suck it. Anybody who bothers me at home to sell me something whether it be to sell me Jesus or a newspaper subscription can suck it. I need a no soliciting sign.

I am home, I don't want to be bothered with whatever crap product you are pedaling.

I don't. of course, I'm not really involved in this thread. I usually ask them about what they believe and then tell them what I believe. They usually go "oh, well ok" and go to the next house. If I had Ample access to free bibles I would give them one. Just for giggles.

Then put up the o soliciting sign, we did. We still get salesmen, but we can call the police if we choose to.
JW's still come to the door as well, but they are friends of ours and visiting.

If they are polite and don't keep ringing the bell if I don't answer or take up my time if I'm busy I don't mind.

Maybe one of these weekends I'll get time to go visit my favorite JW and her heathen husband.

Not that I am defending anyone or taking any sides, but I see a huge flaw in your comparison...the Arab festival is held in one place, and those that wish to attend, go to it...JW bring that to your door, when your at home, whether you want them to or not (though they will leave if you ask them too)
