Default 6.2 Diesel manual flywheel*got my answer*

So I'm thinking about buying a '68 GMC dump truck. It had a 292 6 cyl. w/ the 4 spd., but now the engine is gone. I want to put my military 6.2 diesel in this truck. My question is do I have to find a manual flywheel from a 6.2 OR would the 292 flywheel work on the 6.2? I don't know alot about this stuff, I just need a little help so I know whether to move ahead and buy the truck or not. Feel free to shoot me a PM. Any advice is definitely appreciated, Thanks!

you will need a new flywheel for the diesel. autozone carries one for it. i looked up a 87 pickup with the 6.2 and found a flywheel for 180 bucks
