Pulled the dash, steering column, and 99% of the wiring, some heater components, the hood, and the grille. And I cut the old roll bar for the main hoop. I am gonna fab something up so I can use it right behind the windshield to make a cage.

There is no pics to be taken. Just a jeep without a dash, wiring hood or a grille. Nothing special at all.

Finally started the Lift on the Gray Jeep. The 4" lift is in for the front end and pretty much all done up front, I got hung up on steering. One of the nutserts got messed up on the frame that hold the steering gear, so I have to drill out the hole better and weld in a new nut; with my luck, I broke the steering gear resevoir when I was taking the hoses off.

I got all new brake lines done for the front and relocated where the brake hose meets the line to behind the shock tower and a little bit lower, so longer brake hoses are un-neccessary.

What I have left to do is the rear; I got started, but I only got the nuts off of the leaf mounts/shackles and unbolted the driveshaft; my luck didn't stop, the rear driveshft fell on my forehead because the bungie cord came off while I was unbolting some uts and bolts. Then I have the brake lines to the rear to put on, bleed the whole system, check all the fluids, and swap the 31's back onto the Jeep. (I swapped the axles, so I could just roll everything under the Jeep.)

Don't have very up to date pics, just when the front axle was pulled out.

Just got the rear on. I just have to do the rear shocks, rear brake lines, Bleed brakes, t-case drop, bolt up the steering gear, and put a new steering fluid resevoir. Oh and check all of the fluid.

Today was slow, but I did some stuff. I ordered the new steering reservoir, so I will be getting that tomorrow morning. What is left; the t-case drop, the brake line to the back, and all of the fluids.

some pics.

I got the power steering reservoir today and lucky me, it was wrong. So tomorrow I am going to the dealership to get one from there. So the only thing I have to do is bleed the brakes and put on the reservoir.

Well the season to work on the YJ finally came. I already got a couple things done: plugs, wires and TJ flares. Got a windshield frame and some seats from Unclebeaner and got a CJ tailgate from Tranny Tom through the off season.

The list:
-I have to make a new shock mount for the back passenger side because it busted off the frame, damn rust
-Repair rust hole in the frame
-Make a new support/cross-member for the back of the tub
-New sheet metal on the back of the tub
-Put in some round LED tail lights
-Paint/ install CJ gate
-Make a new rear bumper out of 2x4x.25 becasue I no longer trust teh one I have now (it flexs way too easily way too much with weight)
-Install the new fuel pump
-And hopefully make a new skid plate for the gas tank
-Need to do the floor in the back of the tub along with the sides on the inside.

That is the new project that I have, which will be started once I fully move into the new place.

The secondary list:
-Redo the whole sides of the tub, each siden in one piece of steel
-Front floor pans
-New fenders since the patching didn't hold up.
-New hood
-Paint and install windshield frame w/ newer hinges
-New grille

My new start, got it on the 3rd.
1991 Wrangler
2.5l 4cyl for now
AX-5 manual trans with a "custom 4 speed" 5th is toasted.
roughly 137,000 on it.

Problems to start: no clutch pressure, no 5th gear, rusted at the rear passenger shackle, glass is cracked, body is rusty but not to the extent of the last one.

As of right now what I WANT to do, but may turn out different due to money.

-I am bringing it down to the frame to fix the hole and clean up the frame and paint it.
-Either do a new tub or do beter work on it now that I have more experience in welding.
-Spring over maybe some small lift leafs too.
-Different engine, hope for a 350 but may turn out to be a 4.0L instead.
-Family roll bar or may work on a cage.
-33's to 35's BFG M/T or Goodyear MT/R

I already did one thing, there was a rats nest of cobbled togther wire under the dash; some was for a radio some for a CB and some for a push button start. I had a decent hand full of wire that I ripped out.

The dude drove the jeep as it was up until about a week ago and notice there is no skid plate holding on the gas tank, its just wedged in there. I found the remains of the original skid plate when I crawled underneath it, but it wasn't anything sufficient enough to hold shit.
