nice work on the bodywork, it's a thankless job, but it's looking great
That's a real nice deal. I paid $40 for two rears a couple years ago. A can of black krylon fusion and they'd look brand new.

The frame looks flaky, but is solid, I checked the normal spots and nothing. I will end up checking more once I do a lift.

I used some rust-o-leum bedliner on the flares right now and hold up pretty well, hasn't cracked or chipped.

Well its going to be in the yard for a couple weeks, and if I order the spring pads from rusty's soon, it could happen. Oh and the high steer bolt on bracket, my brother has one of those on his D30 and looks like it will work good.
Maybe I will wait a couple years to get what I actually want done with it, and just get it good enough.

When you say "spring pad" do you mean spring perch (tomato tomato)? Like these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MOR-85090/ If so I have several extra sets I don't need.

yes those are 35s, he drove his around for a week before i had a chance to lengthen it.
and it worked fine. but it was only in the back of the tcase about an inch. any real offroading and i think it would of pulled out. and we also lowerd his transcase (skidplate)down 1inch i believe.

Well on another note, today I got a small sheet of steel to do teh back of the tub and some nuts and bolts to bolt the gas skid plate back up when I do the sending unit tomorrow/ I am gonna clean up the skid plate and spray some bedliner over that. Once I get the steel on the tub, I am gonna roll on some bedliner on the back of the tub and do a little bit of a wrap around to the side of the tub. Hopfully if I have time tomorrow, I will be ablr to do the passenger floor pan so I can get to bedliner the floor.
