Default 4L60E experts?

I was driving my wifes bravada and when it went to shift into 2nd gear it was like it went into neutral rpm's climbed and them bam it caught second...wtf? Sticking valve maybe? I was researching the problem online and someone said something about the sprag clutches? The tranny is not slipping so I think clutch packs are good. I put a half pint of Seafoam trans tune in it...I normally stay far away from adding any crap like that to my vehicle's but my TH400 in my Burban was shifting real hard and I added a half pint to it and it's like a new transmission shifts great. I have not experienced the problem with the Bravada since adding a little Seafoam thats why I was wondering if a valve sticking would cause this problem? I think I will drive it for a week with the Seafoam in it and do a filter and fluid change....if it last that long and I don't have another serious issue?

Yep more then that, it was at about 2200rpm and tried to shift into second and the rpm's shot up to about 4000rpm and it just slammed 2nd. I just got off the phone with the guy who rebuilt the tranny in our van a few years ago and he said it definitely sounds like a sticking valve as long as there is no trouble codes. Ever since I added the Seafoam it has been shifting great...like I said though I will flush it in a week or so I don't want to leave that in the transmission.

Talked to a friend brother who works at a Transmission shop and he said there are a lot of different things that could cause that. He also said that good chance it was a valve sticking and to change transmission fluid to get the Seafoam out and recommended using Red Lube Guard in it instead. Anyone ever used Lube Guard? He told me the shop uses it in every tranny they rebuild.
