We did a department lunch at the new one at Rochester and Auburn... was very good for a chain store. I had a mixed platter, with ribs and brisket, was quite good.

I'd recommend it for a quick ribs fix.

Sounds like M&G time... I nominate the Rochester/Auburn location.

The shop in westland sucks. We went to one in Madison, WI and it was some of the best ribs we've evar had; went to the westland shop and was disappointed with the food.

That's my issue with Flint. I think it was a combination of Prom and Graduation weekend when I was there. No helicopter hairstyles, though...

Good flavor, but we were thinking it would be hot, which it wasn't.

Anyone ever try Carsons Ribs, mail order.

I hear the ads on the radio for them.
I guess you can order a complete meal. Overnight shipping.

Mail Order ribs sounds wierd..

If I wan t good ribs, I cook them myself. If I want them quick with no work, when we'd go to dinner somewhere like famous daves.

We just did ribs for fathers day yesterday...

I use a Little Chief electric smoker to cook them. Stack cinder blocks around it, with a little foil lined insulation and it has no trouble sitting at 240 degrees which is what I like to cook them at.

Dry rub, let them sit overnight(remove the pellicle first), then ~1.5 hrs of smoke, then another couple hours in sealed foil packets in a braising liquid.

Mmmm....
