Just got home from the hospital *please wear seatbelt*

Casey took me into get a cat scan to make sure there was no internal bleeding. As my van was tossing me around I was hit in the head a few times by a propane tank. I think she just wanted to see if my head was really empty or not.

I hit a patch of ice around 50-60mph and it shot me right into the ditch sideways. When I hit the ditch it rolled my fullsize work van 4 times. As I was heading into the ditch I was thinking I just want to be able to see my wife and kid again.

I know at times people here and on other sites bitch and complain to, and about each other. Most of the people I have met through these are good guys and gals. I consider a bunch of you guys friends.

This said I hope everyone can learn a lesson I had to the hard way. Please wear your seatbelts and drive safe in the crappy weather. I was doing the speed limit and just hit some ice.

Have a safe holiday all and hope to see you guys over the holiday season.

The cage held up the roof around the drivers seat but when you are in the van now alot of it is caved in. I also was able to blow 3 out of 4 tires.

Glad to hear that you are ok. On a side note. The van don't look that bad. A little duct tape and you should be back on the road. Just look at nascar when they have a little fender bender.

That was me on M-14. I like the duct tape idea. It really dosent look that bad from the outside, but once you go inside it is screwed. Good thing it was a Ford. The payphones belong to one of our customers.

Darn good to see you are alright after that. I showed my son the pictures and told him to read what you wrote. This is why I keep telling him to wear seatbelts, perhaps a visual might help it sink in.

Glad you are okay, and thanks for sharing the pics.

glad your ok.

I have taught my kids to put the seat belt on before the car moves.

and I'm somewhat surprised by the maturity in the posts so far :p

usually, once someone finds out you're ok, they start asking for parts, or to be to try to call dibs on casey... :p

:)

just playin

we all know what's going to be foremost on your list of thanks today. :)

take a couple of tylenol, or motrin, you're gonna be all over sore for a while.
