Default GLJT Summer Bash 06 - Aug 18th-20th

Great Lakes Jeep Thing Annual Summer Bash!

Date(s): August 18-20

www.gljt.org

Summer is here again and once more It's time for GLJT's yearly wheelin event, Summerbash. The 'Bash is a favorite among the GLJT faithful, and many things have turned into tradition.

It's the place where The Bear feeds the masses, the place where you "earn" your nickname (whether it appeals to you or not), where new friends are made, old ones meet again, the trail rigs and tow rigs always break, tempers can flair, but once It's over, everyone wants to do it all over again.

Place: Badlands ORP Attica,IN - http://www.badlandsoffroad.com/
Headquarters: Carol Summers Campground Attica,IN (765) 762-2382

A nice, clean campground, located about 10 miles north of Attica just off SR55.
There’s a store, laundry facilities, abundant clean showers, an in-ground pool,
a fishing pond, grassy/roomy primitive camping, as well as complete RV sites.

Camping Fees:

primitive(tents) $8 - per night - per person
electric $20 - per night - 1-2 people

We have a reserved area therefore...

ALL CAMPING SITES MUST BE RESERVED THROUGH GLJT NOT SUMMERS!

Park Fees:
1 day pass = $20
2 day pass = $30
3 day pass = $40

GLJT Fees: $30 per vehicle

INCLUDES: t-shirt
stickers
awards (if you win)
guided trail run

The Bear will be donating his grub and services again this year creating the feast to end all feasts on the GLJT grill "BUBBA"

(We will have a donation bucket setup to help him out with it)

We will also be having 2 raffles. One will be a 50/50 and the other will have jacks, parts shirts, stickers, etc....

We will have a # of different groups leading the trails, so you should be able to drive easy to difficult terrain.

Before you sign up and take 1 of the 50 available spots please make sure you have the GLJT required equipment!

Click Here For GLJT's Equipment List: http://www.gljt.org/modules.php?name...ewtopic&t=6488

All Summer Bash Threads are located here: http://www.gljt.org/modules.php?name...viewforum&f=18

Registration will be up in the next few days!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The GLJT Show and shine is the Sunday before the Summer bash, If you have never met us and want to get to know some people before the bash come on out and have a good time

http://www.gljt.org/modules.php?name...ewtopic&t=6480

We will be accepting last minute registrations (if there are any spots left). We also will be doing pre-Bash safety inspections. We will check your rig to make sure you have the required equipment list for summer bash and answer any last minute questions you may have.

See you there

Buy one- it's less than $50, and a good idea to have one, anyway.

He did (several years)- I hope this is the year I make it (with a few other club members- BudMan should be there, as well.)

Should be pretty interesting, our SIYC run is the week before- we will be all over MI...
