I never met your Dad, but remember tearing up when I read the announcement. My prayers are with you.

http://www.geocities.com/ddstrunt/
that is his website. there are pics on there of him so you can put the face with his name. he hung out a lot where it happened, so i don't know if you have ever been there, you may know him from that. lots of other possibilities of how you could know him.

I met your Dad. You may have been in the suburban at the time. He came to Yale to buy his axles from me and said he had his kids with him.

I didn't know him very well, but he was good to me. I'm sorry for your loss.

RIP

I knew your dad. I had met him at several GLFWDA meetings and also on a weekend at the dunes with your mom. I don't know if you were there or not. I don't think so. I always liked your dad and felt it was such a loss when he died.

Our prayers are with you. God Bless.

It's not that people don't care, it's that sometimes our fragile egos don't allow us to express grief and we have to put on a show of bravado so the event doesn't "touch" us in any way. If it doesn't touch us, then it can't happen to us.

We all care, I think about things like this every time I'm out. I check and double check equipment and I take absolutely every precaution I possibly can.

Your dad will always be with you, never let him out of your heart.

I knew your dad pretty good and think about what happened to him every time I go wheeling, because of his accident I am 10x more safe when recoverying a vehicle. Chin up, your dad was a good guy and wouldnt want you grieving over him.
