I didn't get a ticket, I'm just an advocate that the tickets were written in the wrong and I was going to be there to give them my opinion of the matter and whatever else that be necessary to help out, even it was running cell phones back to the car.

The current Motor Vehicle Use Map, released after the tickets were issued, does not have a connecting road through there. Strict interpretation of that map would lend itself to saying that full size rigs would be illegal in that area.

The USFS has, intentionally or accidentally, omitted any connection with existing roads. The only way to access those particular USFS Roads is via trail access (so full size rigs would be illegal). In other words, from the north, there is no county or other FS Road that connects to 5192, 5192 ends at the Cedar Creek ORV Trail which is limited to OHVs less than 50" in width. To the south, 5192 dead ends at private property, before reaching Sweeter.

Overview:

Note 5192 ends at the ORV Trail to the north:

5192 ends at the trail, but there is a road from the trail to Linderman, it's just not designated as open by the USFS.

I think they knew they would loss (or maybe that mini beast was comming) Any way thanks for all the help everyone and we plan to gift the left over money to GLFWDA and UFWDA.

Hubby and I are doing well. Thanks for asking. Makin room in the garage for the jeep so we can do some work on it this winter.

I am dissappointed that this case didn't go to court. A firm ruling on this matter would have been nice.

For you sticking to your guns and standing up for your self , is great!! it is a bit of help when others are wrongfully ticketed and want to fight it. Having rulings like this to bring to subject at a court date is priceless. The Rowe verses Wade of Wheeling. Having other cases to refer to will help a lawyer alot. and you to boot. Being able to show that there is a questionable fact in the ticket can only mean there is a reason of doute that your guilty. and you cant be guilty if not proven if a reasonable doute excist. I THUNK it is what you could reason.
GOOD FOR YOU!!

All I.M.O.
How do you spell Doute or dought ??? dowte ??? I real dought, doute dowte , dowt I have it right.
