When is the court date? I'm sure some people would like to be there for support and silent protest.

I sent $20 via paypal..

I've been through there myself with the kids, I think the ticketing is total BS. I am betting we will see more tickets handed out, with the state of MI being in such bad financial shape.

Good luck!

I hope that you guys win your case. This seems like harassment of the motoring public for sure. Public lands are supposed to be for public use. Off roading is no less a legitamate leisure time activity than going to the beach!

And just think, when each of us pay 16.25 for our ORV stickers, about 33% of every 16.25 ORV sticker sold each year, goes towards LAW ENFORCEMENT for our ORV sport. So essentially, not only are you paying some of these officers wages, but your also paying to allow them to treat you with arrogance and attitude..

And just think? Next year they want ALL ORVers to pay 30.50 for an ORV sticker and an additional 6.00 registration fee for EVERY ORV.

I hope you KICK their ass in court and SEND these arrogant ----heads a MESSAGE!

Ummmmmm.........you buy your ORV sticker from the State of Michigan not the United States Forest Service. NONE of that money goes to the Forest Service.

Also, I don't remember reading that the officers acted with "arrogance and attitude".

Getting your facts straight help all of us look like we're somewhat educated as to the realities of the situation. Mis-directed anger makes us all look ignorant.

Speaking of getting YOUR facts straight, where the ---- did I say in ANY part of my post that we buy our ORV stickers from the US Forest Service and that the money goes to the Forest Service?

ALSO,where in MY post did I say that THE OFFICERS in this forums topic acted with arrogance and attitude?

The point of my post was that about 33% of ORV user fee's goes towards LAW ENFORCEMENT of our sport right now, and that SOME Officers can act with arrogance and attitude when they pull an ORVer over [ I did NOT point fingers at THE officers in this forums topic ] ..

Because of my position as an ORV Safety Director,I hear more horror stories than anyone in here about unpleasant stops with certain LEO's while they are on ORV patrol. ALL the parents of my students cant be wrong ALL of the time.

ORV user's do not pay 33% of our ORV dollars to receive arrogance and attitude from any LEO while performing a routine ORV stop. And now for legislation to seek out a 30.50 ORV sticker next year for the same type of behaviour, is just plain non-sense.

Yes sir, and your advised to stop by my classes to have a few 8 yr old kids spend some extra time with you, teaching you how to ''comprehend/interpet'' information that you read before spouting off at the mouth.

For the record, I interpreted your posts the same way Hombre did. Everyone of your posts come across as someone with a chip on his shoulder.
