Default 1937 Chrysler Royal *sold*

Barn find, extremely solid car, 99% complete. Not very many made either. Around 3000 cars made in 1937, and just over 1000 were business coupes IIRC.

We have found 2 engines for this car in the barn, one should be the original engine. Looking to get $5000 OBO

This car was hauled from California in the early 70's or so, parked in the barn and never came back out. Last CA plate on it was 72.

This car also has an overdrive unit installed

Has 2 small dings in the passenger fender.

Selling for a friends mother in law, I will do my best to get answers.

They really wanted closer to 6, but in this market they came down a bit. At $5000 there isn't a lot of wiggle room.

The best bang for your buck selling this might be advertising on jalopyjournal.com (H.A.M.B.)

The car isn't mine to trade. I'd love the FC, but unfortunately I already have too many projects.

It also comes with an excellent condition 1937 original service manual

Could look like this

Or this! (couldn't find a better pic in a hurry)

If I'm not mistaken, this has unlimited potential upon restoration, as this was the first model year for the Royal.

JF, awesome pics and I wish I had a job/money for this car. It'd be fun to restore.

Bump because the jackass that came for it today was bitching the hood hinges were missing and backed out.

THIS CAR IS MISSING PARTS! It is still 98-99% complete! IT DOES NOT RUN OR DRIVE!
