Default SOLD Craftsman 18hp Tractor cracked Block $150obo

I have a Craftsman 18hp 44" lawn tractor with a cracked block. Everything else on the mower is in working order. The pulleys and belts were replaced recently. I just rebuilt the starter also. This mower is an older mower, but is in decent shape. It would make for a nice tractor if you had a motor for it or it could be used as a parts tractor.

Is the motor vertical or horizontal shaft motor?

That looks like one of the older Craftsmans made by White for them.

The block is cracked where the cylinder meets the block on the outside clean through to the inside. I have tried taking pics of this but it does not show up in the pics. I have had several people look at it and have been told that it is not salvagleable unless you have a new block. The cracked block doe not allow the starter to engage the flywheel.
