Default Can anyone build a stout 727 auto trans ??

I'm getting ready to do my 12v cummins swap into my Ford crewcab...and was going to be freshing up the trans...and looking into a stronger converter aswell ??


Anybody on GL specialize in the 727 2wd auto trans ??

I have cash and " need to spend it " this week on a rebuild or performance overhoul ....

hi tech trans in farmington! call and talk to timmy. he has done it for people doing the swap. built one for a guy with the billet input shaft. the guy twisted it off in the converter. everything in the trans held up still! it was twin turbo'd around 65 psi boost he was sayen.

i had my trans rebuild by Barry Wiley out of grand rapids. he knows what he is doing, re did mine for $800. I dont drive the truck much because I cant afford it but the trans seems great. P.M. me for his numebr

barry wiley is very good with dodge transmissions. he did mine as well and many people i know have theres done by him. hes very reasonable on price and knows all the little tricks and stuff to look for as mopars is mainly what he does. if not him you can also check HTS transmissions out of lowell. they are very well known for the cummins transmissions. they build killer trans. number is 877-630-9122 out check there web site out. i think its htstransmission.com or htstransmissions.com
