Default tire question

i have a 1987 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 and was wondering what is the biggest tire i can fit with out a lift, btw i have 17" rims...

33's should be a piece of cake without cutting anything.

not on a stock truck, my brothers truck needed a 4" lift to run 33's without rubbing

I ran LT285/75R16 Super Swamper SSR's on my 1977 blazer w/o a lift. Those are right around 33's

without seeing the truck, probably a 265-70-17, but might get away with a 285-70-17
