I want a motorcycle again. Love the older ones like 60's and 70's enduros. But am open to newer Hondas or Suzukis or possibly others. Cheaper the better or trade.

I don't need or want a fast bike. Something with style and fun.

I just put a Jimbo Shield on mine last month but haven't ridden it yet with it, but I will be this coming weekend if it gets warm. I've put about 100 miles on it this winter, it cruises comfortably between 55-63 with the 15/50 setup. I didn't have any problem getting over 65 either.
Good deal. What's that rack on it? It looks kind of like the cyclerack, but the tubing looks a little smaller and it doesn't the grab handle on the back.

I've since replaced the sprockets, had the rear tire changed out, changed the oil, replaced the fork boots, replaced the meter light bulbs, and put on some bigger ebay pegs. I was all set for her to get ready to start riding a little bit...then we got all that extra snow.

The Honda in the middle is actually a Yamaha XS500, hardtailed and with a Honda tank. I need to sort out the foot controls yet, I want to do a foot clutch/hand shift setup.

Came across what seems like a good deal for somebody who wants to get into dual sporting with a nice exotic KTM.

400exc 2500$:

Beauty of a Sport Tourer. Those aren't E-series bags are they?

I really like my FZ6 for that type of riding.

Not sure on what series bags they are. Tubular frame on the bike and bags clip on and are secured with the key.

Absolutely love the bike but life changes (kids) are forcing me to sell

How comfortable are those sport-tourers on a long (500+mile) trip?

I'm used to Harley baggers, but I could see these as a bit more fun in the mountains.

I've not done a 500 mile day yet, but I don't see any reason why it would be bad. They all pretty much use the standard riding position.
