I wave if I have been waved at, or if its a modified Jeep, including XJs. It seems to still be alive around here...

good question. but personally im a ford guy so it dosnt matter one way or the other to me, except when i get the occasional jerk ass that waves at me like i have a jeep, i think its just stupid and why dedicate an entire thread to something so trivial.

This rig would really confuse me on the road at high speeds.. It appears to be a YJ, but has a 10 slot grill, which must be some custom aftermarket thing attempting to fool people into thinking it is a very very old AM General grill.

I figure if they know to wave then its good enough. I thought it was supposed to be an understanding and liking of driving a vehicle that is very different than a normal vehicle. I didn't know it was a matter of dick measuring.

Thanks for all the info...

CJ's -> CJ's sounds good
TJ's -> YJ's and YJ's to TJ's good.
Cherokee's, do not need to wave, there are too damn many of them on the roads, so wave only to lifted ones.
Liberty's, please dont wave.
Grand Cherokees, again, only lifted ones should wave.

Stock TJ's and stock YJ's should only wave to each other, I really dont need to be waving at some 18 year old tool driving his stock YJ/TJ.

Grey Goose, you should wave with your left hand but look right, as no one will be able to figure out what you are driving in time to refer to the chart to know if they should wave or not.

If you see a really large pissed off jeep, I suggest waving with both hands. I dont do the wave to girls, I just throw the shocker up and see who hits their brakes

Those ladies don't wave back any how . . . The only thing I've got from them is a dirty look like they are saying "What! I don't even know that guy. Why is he waving at me?"
