Default running no tailgate at the dunes?

I have a fuel cell mounted in the back of my YJ behind the rear seat. I do not have the tailgate mounted....will I have any issues entering the Silver Lake Dunes park?

I have no tailgate and I have never had an issue.
Mufflers, totally different story. They seem to get irritated when you don't have them, go figure!!

at the dunes you are required to have a roll bar or a roof, and a seat belt, I'm sure seats are optional! No tailgate you are fine...

Just mount a huge confederate flag on the back and there will be no questions asked.
