mustangs, camaros, etc. I would agree, trucks, no. a 2wd truck with a few hundred pounds of sand bags in the bed gets around fine if you know how to drive it.

Yep it does suck. It is the black ice that is getting everyone. Hell it almost got me. Blazer went one way then the other. I kept it from coming around

Throwin Mudd just called...he rolled his work van about 4 times, totalling it. Slid on some ice on the freeway, hit the ditch sideways in that F-350 van about 50mph. Sounds like he's alright, besides being a bit sore.

I bet we don't get more than 2 snow falls a year on average where ground clearance means anything when driving on the roads, and if it does it just means you get stuck trying to get out of your driveway, it doesn't cause you to lose it on the freeway and end up in the ditch.

On icey roads I'd rather be driving the escort than the Jeep.

I have to say i have leg up on the snow. I have the guys at work who are volunteer firefighters, they all carry the beeper that tell where accidents are, so at drive time I know whitch way to go. it was funny as heck listening today cause I live at the top of deadmans curve. you have to make the icy hills and the switch back turns all while on the phone or eatting Mikey D's, theres always accidents by me.
