Default Looking for small engine help

I have a 2003 Suzuki LTZ 400. The problem is over Memorial Weekend at Silverlake my chain came off and cracked a part off the crank case. Does anyone know where I could purchase one? or even better some one that can do repair? I understand its going to cost me some $$ but I am sure some one here can point me in the right direction, I would rather have local.

You can probably just ebay a used case, or a complete lower end, if you're trying to do it cheap.

Slap a case guard on it too: http://www.mooseracing.com/catalog.j..._group_id=7429

I've had that happen on a dirtbike. I took the case apart and had it welded, worked fine.

Most of the ones on ebay are already cracked, people dont really replace them unless there is something wrong with them. I had a case saver on it too, but it did not live up to its name. Anyone have a phone number to some kind of shop that could fix mine?

I had an lt250r, well, more than one. I used JB Weld (seriously). Held up to years of abuse and still held strong when I sold it.

I would JB weld it, but its a chunk right by where the shifter comes out, and a large piece is missing. I am thinking build it up with a weld and re-machine the hole, who can do it?
