What does everyone like? What do you dislike?

I've played with pretty much every BB out there as one of my responsibilities is BES Admin and I love my Bold the most. The Storm is way too clunky and slow, IMHO. Even running someone of the newer OS variants isn't helping enough.

That being said, I couldn't think of a good reason to have a BB without BES. There are better phones out there for personal use.

Got the BB Pearl from work, the keyboard sucks. You have to double tap, and if you are calling a number that is using the cute phone keys acronym (like 1-866-4WOW NOW) you have to stop and think about what the proper keys are or look at a REAL phone to figure it out.

IT guy wants to get everyone a Storm, I'd be happy if I could trade it in for a Curve.

Beside, BB Pearl = chick phone.

ding ding ding winner

and BES sucks, no reason to have it if you have Exchange. And if you're using Lotus Domino/Notes, you're used to shitty things anyways.

I'd rather have BES than Windows Mobile. Now that is crap no matter how they package it

do you mean Windows Mobile, or Directpush? Directpush is awesome. I like WinMo better than BB for most things. I've used it for years, but bought an HTC Touch Pro, and it was extra clunky and slow, and decided that was it, bought an iPhone.

Yes verizon. It shows full webpages. However, you can not click on links in the email program. But for the $20 month in savings that doesn't bother me.. Blackberrys will do more but this is cheaper service and allows me tot get my emails and what not.

755p isn't WinMo. It's Palm OS.

I have a 755p. With the right apps, it's a killer phone. It's just fair out of the box.

You can also tether it to your ASUS and have internet anywhere you go. There's an app that I happen to have to tether where they think you're surfing on the phone.

I've had a few WinMo phones, dont really care for them myself. Some people really like them, but they're more complicated than what they should be.

I've never had a Blackberry. I don't want to pay an extra $30 a month when my Treo does all the same things.

I am really leaning toward the 755p. It seems to do just about everything that I want. The only complaint seem to be its size.

Funny you say that. I had a Centro and got rid of it because I thought it was too small. I like the big screen.

Bigger phone=bigger battery. I never have to charge mine more than once a day, and I'm on it constantly. I had to charge my centro twice a day.

When you hold shift you get the numbers, What I'm talking about is a normal phone keypad is 1, 2(abc), 3(def), 4(ghi), etc.... but on the pearl it's 1(er), 2(ty), 3(ui), etc to emulate a qwerty keyboard. So when you see an ad to call 1-800-HOT-ASSS you need to translate.

My own phone is a Nokia from MetroPCS, it's the basic phone, no camera, no internet, no texting, just makes and answers calls. If it weren't so damn much money I would have bought the jitterbug....

I currently have the 755 p and while I dont hate it I dont really enjoy it either. at times the screen gets a little laggy and by the time it catches up i am three buttons ahead of it. That sort of gets annoying. My only other complaint is would be that the people on the other end of the line seem to hear more of the background noise than your voice, and the lack of a full internet only crappy moblie versions.

I understand completely what you are talking about. If you start to dial, 1800... then you hold shift and hit the letters of the word in the phone number it will automatically enter the right numbers for you. I had a pearl and now have a curve and i use this ALL THE TIME.

OK, sweet- I'll have to try that. Didn't get a manual with the phone, hell, for the first couple weeks I couldn't open e-mail attachments. Took 3 wizards at Verizon to get THAT working. If I was paying for it someone would have gotten a blackberry enema.
