Default painting with light

if there were a few people that were inclined to try this, i would love to do it sometime...

it is called painting with light.

examples of said photography (
the first image was produced using sparklers which is obvious because of the trails, but the second i'm not sure what was used...any theories?):

this techinque is achieved by using small aperture, long exposure time, preferably a dark/vacant of light place, black clothes, giant sparklers, and quick movement.

When I was in photography class, I did a painting with light of a Harley. In a total dark garage, 30 seconds on the shutter with a small flashlight. On a few I did the whole bike, but the best one in my opinion was when I just highlighted parts of the bike and left the rest of it dark. Of course if I were to do it now, I'd do the jeep..........
And these are all great examples posted here.

I do that all the time. I've just never thought about doing any photography in there.
