I like the comment, "that is almost as fast as GM is going down the drain"

And wow, that's fast!

I'd call the viper inferior long before the ZR1.

On a straight line road? no way.

If you're going to add in turns and stuff, then yes.

You can get the new style vettes for $20k now. Everybody has one.

Stock Neon SRT2 > Everything else

Besides, the ZR1 will still be in production. The Viper is DEAD

I'm just posting a video that was sent to me to share with everyone else for their enjoyment.

I'm not trying to hype anything.

Why does it sound like the vette launches were shitty? Just trying not to spin?

If i recall correctly, the ZR1 set the record for a production car at the Ring, then the Viper went out and beat it.

The SRT10 ACR did, not the normal SRT10 Viper.

I agree, but some have argued (I don't agree) that the SRT10 ACR is a track car because it has a fully adjustable suspension, barely street legal track tires, etc.

I argue both are the top "trim" of the car model and can be bought as is from the dealership that way.

ZR1 has adjustable shocks too. electronically adjustable with preset factory settings. sport, touring, and old man cruising around in a super vette that never sees 55 settings.

Stock Vipers are faster than a new ZR1? Really?

I generally see then identical, or the ZR1 a touch faster.

ZR1 is lighter, more hp, more torque at lower rpm, and a more comfortable car and faster around a track for most drivers.

Viper has more exotic mistique..
