What size tire can the stock carrier on a wrangler tj hold without bending?

also if you buy a jcr or nates bumper can u make it one with a swing away in the future?

its not the bracket that will bend, its the door hinges and i do believe with 31's your safe...

if you for example put 33x12.5 on that little bracket at first it will be ok but take it trail riding a few hours or down the road a month or two and you will notice your gate will not like to shut right.

or atleast that was the problem i had.

My Yj did the same thing.


Why don't you ask JCR, as they build the bumpers.
