Default Yankee Springs trail questions.

I am going to take my first trip to Yankee Springs for a trail ride with the family. Any website i went to for answers was just too much to sift through. I heard its pretty big and could probably spend a couple of hours there. Let me know what you think of the place or maybe answers some of my questions. Thanks.

1. do i need an ORV sticker there.
2. is there a main entrance.
3. do you pay to get in
4. are there trail maps or on my GPS.

Not really much there other than some 2 tracks and seasonal roads. There is some nice easy stuff there but anything that was challenging has been closed. You don't need an ORV but if you go to the Devils Soup bowl you will need a state park sticker. The area is nice and you can spend a couple of hrs or more just cruising the 2 tracks. I don't know of any maps out there. Some of the 2 tracks do show up on my GPS. Remember if you can't make it through in 2 wheel drive it isn't legal.

We went out in the Allegan. We spent most of the day by Hamilton but we know of many more trails right here in allegan can go out for a 4-5 trail ride very easy around here, nothing big but we can get ya dirty and stuck if that is what ya want!! The guys from Michiana i think had a great time for what we have to offer!!

We made it up there to Yankee Springs , and it seems that they have 3 trails on the map blocked off now. Too bad, because we had a good time out there with what we traveled on. Now i need to find the Allegan trails to get muddy.

Since all that is out there that is legal is mild two tracks no. The only place I know of in Michigan you need a flag is the dunes.
