Default 1500-2500 swap

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have very little exp with Chev 4x4's I wanted to change the axles from a 94 2500 diesel to a 98 1500. I want to put the 14 bolt in my half ton. What do I need to change over to get 8 bolt in the front? Just hubs and rotors whole front axle? Should I change the torsion bars as well? Obviously the rear springs would be changed to 2500 I have 2 whole trucks so I would switch what ever I could except the diesel cuz its cooked

Your kinda stuck with 6 lug up front, unless you do a solid axle swap. Ball joint wont fit in 1500 a arms. 2500 hubs are 4 bolt. 1500s are 3 bolt. and the mounts for athe 1500 suspension is differrent the 2500.

I looked into it, wanted a 14 bolt ff myself.

Yep. Swapping lug patterns in the front is not worth it, and the rear (changing the 14 FF to a 6 lug) is quite expensive.
