Default Ebay problems.. What do i do ?

So a week or so ago i ordered some fenders off eBay for my 400EX i wanted black fenders cause im changing the colors.. well i order them up the listed say red and black avail.. cool it says tell what color u want when u order.. go through whole order process and it never gives me a place to leave a message with payment.. so i send the seller a message IMMEDIATELY after completing checkout.. couple days later he sends me an eBay message saying "I will be sending red fenders as there were no special instructions sent with payment"
I then reply "NOOOO i need black fenders like i stated in the message i sent you immediately after payment Do not send red ones.." So it takes this dumb ass like 5 or 6 days just to ship them after that message So i figure he had to change something to get the black fenders to me ? meh no biggy quad's in pieces anyway.. well tues i got the fenders in and they're red.. red fenders are useless to me.. i already have red ones in the garage that were on it.. Dammit ! So ive tried calling their number 12 times left messages i just sent another ebay message in hopes that they will repsond.. i dont want to leave feedback til i know what will happen with this.. But I'm giving him a week to get the ball rolling on taking care of it.. If it goes south.. what should i do here ?? how do i file a claim with ebay/paypal since i was shipped the wrong item ..

if it wasn't noted on thePaypal payment, it is not totally his fault. He might just be drop shipping so he might not be able to personally package it for you!
I would try to offer to return, and in good faith offer to split the return shipping with him which you will be stuck with anyway! If they are reputable they should take care of it!! if he doesn't repond then you could try a dispute through paypal. If its ATV Galaxy they suck and good luck!!
Do not threaten bad feedback, Ebay frowns on that and will side with them if you threaten bad feedback!

It doesn't sound like this is Ebays fault! it sounds like poor communication from buyer at time of sale!!

Send a message/e-mail saying that if your not shipped the proper item your ordered, after the return of the wrong item, the negative feedback will be left for your sale.

other than that all you can really do is open a case that you recieved the wrong item

I would not give him any time, I would open a paypal dispute with him asap. I just bought a laptop off ebay, in the auction it said it had 2gb ram I get the thing and it only had 512mb. I messaged him twice with no reply from him, waited another day and filed the paypal dispute. Funny, an hour after I filed he replied and is now sending me 2-1gb memory sticks. Also, I would not leave feedback for him until this is right for you.

Fuck all ^ that noise! Trash his feedback and file a dispute with both paypal and e-bay. Feedback can be removed if the dispute gets resolved. Trashing feedback will most likely be the FASTEST and most efficient way to get a response from the seller. If you file the disputes with out the feedback I could take weeks to even get them to respond. I use e-bay an awful lot.

If he didn't specify to message him THROUGH pay pal, then you followed the rules and sent him direction on what color you wanted right when you payed, you just did it through email/ebay message/whatever you used.

its his fault and I agree with the leave BAD feedback, then file claim with pay pal and ebay. the problem will then be solved if he wants his feedback fixed.

he should pay return shipping and new shipping out to you since he should have sent the right parts in the first place.
