Ok, i have bout had enough with this jeep. Great jeep but the wobble is unberable. Took it to the shop they said its the steering stabilizer shock. Im gona fix it and if it fixes the froblem then i will not sell the jeep.

x2. The only thing a stabilizer does is control the rate at which the steering system can cycle. They aren't even required if you have good alignment, decent positive caster, and no worn components.

You need to keep looking. There is a component somewhere that is f'd up.

usually the bolt hole where the track bar bolts to the axle gets wollered out. Check that. Ive seen it many times.

ditto. both the track bar mount at my axle and drop bracket from frame are ovaled. fix those then get the camber checked. does the lift consist of adjustable control arms?

Sorry guys the old lady got on here yesturday, it has new track bar, all new tie rods, steering stabilizer shock, ball joints, sway bar, and steering box.

Did you get a alignment after all that? Did you install everything, drive 100 miles and then re torque ALL the bolts? Where all the bolts torqued down with jeep on the ground? As in so the weight of it compressed the suspension?

Id be willing to bet you have something loose somewhere......Id check it all out again then take it to a GOOD alignment shop.

Good point. Inverted-Y steering systems require alignments after you disturb any of the steering components.
