basically the hook broke off the cable and i had a bad spot about 15 foot down so i cut it off there and added a new hook. so its about 10-15 feet shorter than normal. Oh and that is the strongest way to add a new hook to it according to the write ups on the internet. There is a certain way you have to position the clamps and stuff to make it strong, in other words i just didnt throw it on there and hope for the best. The line has 2-3 other flat spots where it crushed itself a little, not cut or anything. To be honest i think it would pull my jeep in half before it broke. Ive been shocked at what this winch will do. Ive pulled out a big block 1 ton truck on 35 that was buried to the frame before, i had to hook 3 vehicles on the back of me so i didnt get pulled into him! Ive also pulled a 3/4 ton diesel long bed stacked above the cab with firewood and towing a 25 foot trailer stacked with fire wood up a snowy hill before (that time i tied the back end to a tree) Anyways it works great and has been a awesome winch. Id be shocked if i ever found something i COULDNT pull out with it.

Only other issue is the remote connector. before i even installed the winch on my jeep i shut the end of the controller in the door of my jeep and smashed it. So it wouldnt plug into the box anymore. So what i did was used a trailer plug to run the remote though. Never had any problems with it. The wires are sealed coming out of the solenoid box so crap couldnt get in there. i actually like it better because the stock plug falls right out, this is harder to get apart and doesnt come loose on the trail. I was always going to hard wire it into the cab but i never got around to it. Its been on my jeep less than 2 years and im guessing has MAYBE 20-30 pulls on it.

Comes with the fairlead if you want it (BTW that is just very light surface rust that comes off with a green scrubby pad) and ill every throw in the snatch block. All the rust on the winch is just light, comes off with a little work, only part that has a little rust is the drum and that will come off the first time you pull the cable in against it. As you can see the powdercoat crap is chipping...im sure you could spray paint it or something to make it look better if your worried about that.

cheapest i found this winch for sale was on ebay for 630ish, q-tec they are 600 plus 75 shipping....

I want 435 OBO

I dont really want to sell but i found a deal on something else that is to good to pass up and i need the money quick. This is the easiest thing i can unbolt from my jeep lol

Oh and for those that dont know. This winch has a faster line speed, and almost HALF the amp draw as a comparable warn winch!!!!! That is why i bought it over a warn and will buy another superwinch over any other brand in the future too....Warn = overrated

Your acting like i am made of money.. I only pay with cash, I don't buy anything with plastic or via loan... My work is a bit slow right now, but if you still have these in a couple weeks I assure you I will want these items, Hell with being stuck all alone with no winch.. I have enough right now to get that winch but then i would be about broke, I need a bumper to so i will wait till i have all of it.
