Default The Auto Industry: A look at what people in other states think...

Some of the comments just utterly amaze me, especially post 83.

What amazes me is that these people in other states don't think a big 3 failure will affect them in any way. Along with lose of income, as you pointed out on that other site, suppliers to the companies would begin to fail. Along with the dealership closures, the lack of discretionary income will affect other industries.
Less people spending money for movies, vacations out-of-state, etc. All those things will begin the trickle down economic impact on these people.

Love the input from DonkeyDouche on the other site. He needs to put mommies computer away and go on to bed. Punk doesn’t have a clue to how the real world works.

I'm glad people are able to make random ass opinions, post them as fact, and then argue that. Fucking unreal.

Hey! Grab a bucket of ice and sit on it. Facts are great for historical reasons and used to predict the future. However, opinions based on facts drive decision making for the present and future.

You don't even know what you are arguing about here. Your OP was just pointing at an article. Then you come in here with this rage and biased "OPINION" that was influenced by the article and making statements and answering "rhetorical" questions, thinking that you agree and support a non-existent solution on the fucking American Automotive market.

You know what? FUCK AMERICAN CARS! FUCK AMERICAN MENTALITY. You want an opinion, then here is is mine.

This fucking American mentality that everyone must keep up with the Jones and live outside thier means and procede to bend over and shove a pineapple in their own asses to quick and easy profit, benefits, and cheat/steal from your own company and culture and run it into the fucking ground and make it someone else's problem.....is a fucking problem.

You know what a lot of American's mentality is? " IT's NOT MY FAULT. SOMEONE ELSE IS TO BLAME". A country where no one is responsible for their own fucking actions and foots blame on someone else...that's the good ol U.S. of A.

You want to know why the USA economy is shit? Look in the the dam mirror. You will find the answer. Don't hate on the smart Asian dude in class who manages his money better, smarter and get's straight A's that throws the grade curve off in class but then you cheat off of him....(i.e. Japanese Auto manufactures)

Hypocrites

Theres a lot of truth to that statement........

What ever happened to loyalty to American made products. They don't seem to realize that if manufacturing goes down, the country goes down. Look at WWII, we won that war with great help from our manufacturing base. I would hate to see another large scale war in the future without a superior manufacturing base.

I try as much as I can to purchase products only Made in the USA

I do too, but when they make shit (domestics 70's to well 20% of their current models), its hard to not blame and them for their horrid leadership. Because their lack of leadership led them into bankruptcy.

People can blame their situation on the economy and whatnot, but the fact is they were failing long before the economy took a shit.

The problem is you're arguing with Texans, some of the most arrogant, hypocrtical people in this country. They have absolutely no loyalties to anything US whatsoever. You should drive around Dallas and see what they drive, driving a Dodge or Chevy car(as my fiance and I do) puts us in the minority. It seems that the only American Vehicles these people buy are trucks/suvs. For a state that proclaims itself as the most patriotic there is, they sure do not practice what they preach. I know that I'm looking forward to getting out of this state.

I love how the argument always turns to resale.

Who gives a fukc about resale?

Its stupid to buy and sell their new cars every two years. Just pay the damn thing off and drive it.

thats a nice thought. when a vehicle starts falling apart in a couple years you get rid of that bitch before you end up making payments on something you cant drive due to mechanical failures.
