Default Bronco 2 "Overhead Console"

I replaced the touch drive with manual 4x4 and i was thinking of replacing the buttons with an electronic compass or something. Has anybody done this? If so what did you use and how did you do it?

most of those electronic compasses, outside temp guages, etc are self contained...run a power and ground wire, and bolt it in place....that is, assuming you find one that is still working...

take a 9 volt battery with you, easy to carry in your pocket, and gives you a way to test them quickly and easily...
