Need a good Toy Mechanic/shop.

Just as the title mentions. I need my timing chain and guides replaced.

I just got a quote for $1700 for 22 hours labor. Everywhere I read states that a mechanic can spend anywhere from 3-8 hours on the job. Why do shop over inflate things so much?

So, what are you thinking a shop should charge? I will have the parts, just need the labor done.
