I could say the same for you and what this world has done to your thoughts and opinions. Everything you say I've heard countless times before. You are not unique in thinking. You've been maniplulated just as much you claim I have.
The Founding fathers believed in a Creator, Most in the Jeudo Christian God. The Declaration of Indpendence clearly states we are given our rights by our creator....not a process....A creator. I've quoted things that alot of the founding fathers have said about religion in general and it's quite oposite of the opinion our government has now. Click here Post #2 There are a few quotes out of many that share what thier thoughts of Religion and how it should help shape our morals in this country. I know alot of this information because of a thing we have called history, Manuscripts, books, ETC. I may not be able to sit down and talk to George Washington but I can get an idea of what he was like through his writings. It's a Pretty simple process called Studying.

I don't claim to be super human. In all reality I claim to be less the what you do. I can humble my self to realize that My standards are not nearly good enough for making morals and judging what is good or evil. Humans are inherently evil, Anybody can tell you that; anybody who says other wise is a fool.

Christ is not just a Crutch he's a life boat. With out him we would all be lost. If you really saught after what Christians have in Christ I'm sure you would have a different mind set. But, as usually, Sticking to the Sterotypes is better.

It's true that people have used religion to manipulate people, I can't change history. It's true they do it today. I have no say what happens to them when they die. What I can say is that the true Christian Churches out there that practice what they preach are doing good in thier comunities and around the world. People like you just choose to be ignorant to it. You'd rather be that then proved wrong in your sterotypical judgements.
I've posted this challange before and I'll do it agian. If you really claim to know what Christians know the you wouldn't have the view point you do. My Challange is to go to a Growing church in your area for 6 months. Get involved, Talk to people; keep an open mind and try not to debate right or wrong. I am 100% sure your view on what Christians do will change.

None of these documents mesh with eachother and none stand out to be "the right one", so I find it hard to believe that the ancient book you worship is correct, but the ancient documentations others worship are false. You believe in Jesus and think that someone who believes in another religion, perhaps older than yours, is not correct even though they are basing it on the same type of information you base yours on.

I also use history as a teacher. In the Era of the Greek Gods there were Gods for wind, Fire, sickness, and everything else under the sun. As science has been pushed forward with the advances of technology, these Gods were proven to be mythical figures. I think this will continue to happen and eventually the though of any God will be nothing but a fairytale.
The only problem is that science is proving that this world get's more complex and more complex at every turn. I think the exact oppisite of you, one day there will be a point when science can no longer beat around the "creator" idea and those that believe there is not one will have to deal with it.

It's called Genetic Mutation. It's a Mathmatical thing. When you start with only so many combinations, you'll get a bad combination every so often.

It's called being polite. Have you never dealt with someone you found to be repulsive, yet were polite to them? I consider it kindness

What you really mean is they might buy one of your used cars you got from the auto auction. So, you're nice to their face and make fun of them when they leave the lot.

So you have a problem with the complexities of this world, so you prefer to turn a blind eye and just pretend that some dude just dropped everything here? Your quote about beating around the creator idea is also baffling me. Over the years it has been slowly proven that certian things are created by chance, science, and math just like the way that people are slowly uncovering things that link humans to their roots.
