1990 xj, runs good but needs body work $450
located in port huron Mi.
asking $450 obo, will entertain trades, preferable not parts as this will be my last jeep for awhile. r/c crap, electronics are an interest.
well i don't want to sell it but its doing my no good setting in the garage as i don't have the time or money to fix it right now. during the summer some dumb 16yo didnt look before pulling out of the mall and drove in to the passenger side of the jeep. she hit dead nuts in the b-pillar, damage is both doors, rocker, floor pans and the b-pillar. the back door is off and the front is just about off, the back one can be put back on and it does open and shut but is bent pretty good. the main frame rail that the cross member ties into is still straight, pull the b-pillar out, get a new rocker and some doors and its good to go. the floor pans were rusting so they now have holes in them after they bent, could fix them or leave them. i drove it for two weeks after the accident to get some quotes and crap, only parked it because the front door didnt seal at the top. 4wd works even 4lo, has a NP231 t-case, does make a slight whine when decelerating in 4wd.
i put in a new head gasket and alternator about 4k ago and new brakes about 11k ago. was primarily used as a winter vehicle and to move stuff during the summer so i only put 11k on it in 2-3 years. an old lady had it before me.
the 4.0 runs great
aw4 tranny shifts and functions fine
newer head gasket and alternator
interior isnt mint, no major stains and one rip in the drivers seat.
new el'cheapo turbomax exhaust, no cat.
has a newer Reese hitch and is wired for lights.
has a clean title.
rust on bottem of a few of the doors, rockers, rear passenger fender and around the door handles
front tires are street tires
a/c needs to be charged, but its r-12
wiper motor is dead, but i did get a new/used one a day before the accident.
it would be a good project jeep or parts donor, or if you have the know how put it back on the road.
and a video for good measure

yep as far as i can tell the frame "rails" are straight. drove it on and off again for about 1-2 weeks getting quotes and crap after the accident. would have kept driving it but as you can see the door had quite a gap. it has been sitting for about a year now, so it does need a tune up and what not.
