I don't personaly have one but have heard alot of good things, positve feedback on the carb. I have a Barry Grant Trucker series carb which is set up just like the Holley. Works very well off road, much better than a standard Holley.

I ran one for a few years on my CJ with a mild 304. I ran MC2100, Edel's 1406, and this Holley TA, the Holley was the best out of all of them. The Edel 1406 was very good on the road and fine for mild trail driving, but the holley TA did better in off camber situations. But the Holley costs more, much more than the simple Edel 1406.

I also have heard that a Qjet is the next best thing, even better than the Holley TA. But I don't have any experience with them.

I had a Q-jet and took it off for a Holley TA. Go with the Holley, much nicer and doesn't load up in the bumps like the crap-jet.

Before I installed a new fuel injected engine, I ran one for about 3 years on a SBC. I've used other carbs for off road and none compared to the Truck Avenger.

When I went to an Edelbrock Performer intake on my AMC 360, I also replaced the MC2100 with a Holley TA (670 cfm). I've had no complaints about it.
