it has a d44/d60 with 4.10s locked, but they are going in the new project s10 that is why they are not included. its not cheap to put high steer on and rebuild every piece and add disk brakes to the rear. if you want them bad enough i can add the $$$$ up.

Well first, i do believe that 8,000 for a jeep with out braking system including cutting brake, master cylinder, proportioning valve, line lock and all brake lines
front axle assembly, track bar, Tie rod and drag link, front springs, sway bar assembly
rear axle, rear springs (available separate), rear control arms, rear shocks, both front seats, battery, tires and wheels is a little bit crazy. A person is going to have to put another couple thousand into this thing just to get it wheel-able...... Perhaps lower the price about 5k and it might sell.... But that's just my $.02.
You said to leave feedback if we are checking it out....So i did... Not meant to sound like an ass either...

Absolutely.

I'd part it out if you're going to strip that much off it.

thank you for the feedback it nice to know what other people are thinking.

cgrooters, i have about 4g wrapped up in the motor alone i am already losing $$$ but i gained experience building it so its not that bad but i cant give it away.

rob the plumber, slayerxj i know this has got to be the worst time to sell a ride, i have been out of work for 6 months. everyone in this state is selling everything and buying nothing.

i am hoping not to part it out as its a great looking and running set up that some one could just put different axles under (44/9, 44/60, 60/14, 2 1/2's, mog axles). i would take less off of it but i need those parts for the s10 build it took a while to match it all up, i still will be replacing some stuff.

would it be more appealing if i put some stock axles under it or just part it out?

A stock longblock 302 with a carb and intake should be nowhere near 4 grand. You could have an aluminum headed Windsor for that.

I understand all that, but lets say you have an average 1994 Z28 Camaro that is worth $4000. You have a shop replace the motor at a cost of $3500. This does not make the car worth $7500.
I understand your position, but it can be very difficult to get back money from "mods". The biggest red flag for your sale is how you don't get all this stuff for $8000.

$8000 is what people really expect to pay for a clean, V8, ready to rock YJ. Maybe you will get lucky though.

i agree with everyone else. You don't get nearly what you put into a vehicle, out of it. Luckily, wrangler prices are awesome for sellers right now, and 8,000 would be a fine deal for your vehicle as-is.

However, spending 8k on it and needed to put thousands more into it is unappealing. Shit 10 grand is a decently modded TJ.

This will never sell for 8,000 with all the pieces missing, this is essentially a project jeep. Thats going to need a lot of parts an a lot of labor to get it moving.

I have sold lots of modified vehicles and one thing you learn quick is that your 4,000$ vehicle with 10k invested is not worth anywhere near 14k. You'd be lucky to see 8k.

I agree with everyone else, too high of a price for what is actually for sale, if it were as it is with axles and brakes, it would be a good deal. There is a false thinking that when people put money into a Jeep or 4x4 that it increases the "worth" or value, in acuality it may be making it worth less because you are building it the way you want, which might not be what everyone wants. An example - I would rather have a stock motor and more upgraded axles/suspension than have $4,000 into a motor. So, to find someone that wants exactly what you are offering for this price sounds next to impossible. On a seperate note, if I had been out of work for 6 months, I would be selling the entire thing, not starting a new project, or at least keep your $4,000 motor for the next project. Of course I do not know your situation, but that is me. Good luck.
