1989 Yj *SOLD*

Frame---------------------
- The frame is rusted out at the rear end where the springs mount .
- The front bar that goes from the frame to the axle is rusted where the frame
Mount is.
- Other wise the frame is good every where else.
- The belly pan that is on it is rusted through but I have another that is in good
Shape if you want it.

Transmission----------------
-The transmission is a 5 speed manual. It grinds going into 1st, and 2nd.
-There is no 5th gear but I think the problem is in the shift forks.
-I have another transmission that has some good parts. It comes with the jeep if
you want it.

Engine ----------------------
- The Engine is a 4 cylinder, it runs good and has 116,000 miles on it.
- Engine does not burn or leak oil.

4x4-------------------------
-The transfer case seems to be ok. It has no leaks and goes in and out of four
wheel drive.
-I ran all new vacuum lines as some of them were missing or broken when I
got it.

Body ----------------------------------
-The body has some dent and dings, not perfect. The front bumper is made out of
old drive shafts.
-Passengers side front fender is in bad shape.
- The main tub is in decent shape the passenger floor is just about perfect there
is no rust, still nicely painted. The driverís side was replaced with a piece of
sheet metal, where a floor mat would sit. Seems to be solid. Was not my work.
- I cut holes in the body beneath the doors both sides. There was rust climbing
where the fender flares stop. I never filled them in.
the interior is in decent shape all grey all gauges work, speedo, tach, good
electrical. Steering components are ok.

This is a 1989 Jeep YJ. It is red with black doors. It has a soft top. $1200 O.B.O. I am listing this for a friend. The jeep is located on Ann Arbor Trail in Westland. I do know a bit about this Jeep if you want to pm me. Or you can call Tom at 734-756-9132 he is the one selling it.
